Software QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:-

• 1] Technical understanding of business requirements, platforms, and APIs
• 2] Experience with applying test engineering methodologies, test-driven development, Agile software delivery, and operating in product-based delivery squads
• 3] Ability to operate with an automation-first mindset to enable and enhance continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery capabilities
• 4] Ability to operate as an SDET and enhance the level of automation to ensure the quality of our customer-facing experience
• 5] Collaborate effectively with software engineers, product owners, test engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the product being delivered
• 6] Ability to define, automate and validate test cases to ensure requirements are met across all layers of the technology stack UI/API/Services.
• 7] Extensive experience translating business requirements into effective test cases, test planning, test automation, and test execution

Required Candidate profile

• 1] Experience in testing environments highly preferred
• 2] Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision with guidance from Sr. SDET and Test Engineering Manager on Test Engineering strategies and architecture
• 3] Comfortable doing presentations to technical and non-technical audiences or medium-sized groups
• 4] Work closely with developers in verification and validation of features in new and existing applications
• 5] Effectively communicate with product squad & partner teams, business users, product owners, and other stakeholders
• 6] Research testing trends and is self-motivated to stay current with industry best practices
• 7] Experience with Test Engineering concepts, methodologies, and ability to apply them as appropriate to the SDLC
• 8] Object Oriented Design & Programming expertise is required to ensure the design, implementation, and maintainability of appropriate test frameworks and automation
• 9] Good analytical skills and strong hands-on programming experience
• 10] Good collaboration, communication & problem-solving approach
• 11] Experience in Java design patterns, Selenium, TestNG, Rest API, Cucumber Framework
• 12] Knowledge of other frameworks will be a plus point

• 2 technical rounds and 1 HR (Face to Face Interviews only)
